I wish you all a Happy and Joyful 2008.
As it is the beginning of a New Year we tend to reflect on
this year gone by and set plans and goals for the New Year.
For many this is a period of what we call the “January
Blues”. After the Christmas rush, buying, preparing and
attending partys and family gatherings, it suddenly is all
over and this can make us feel low. The beginning of a new
year is also a time of healing and rejuvenating and to
really take a look at our life. At Vida I offer many
treatments and classes to help you with healing and
rejuvinating .
Another topic I want to focus on in my letter is the topic
of Peace and Love. The emotions of love and peace really
need to be exercised in the world today and in Bermuda more
importantly. With the election and violent acts at
Christmas time, we really need nurturing and healing with
love and kindness to one another. Maybe a question to ask
yourself is, how can I show more unconditional love on a
daily basis? Whether it is giving someone who is upset a
hug or saying hello with a warm smile to someone you don’t
know. Can you imagine how peaceful life would be if we were
all loving and kind to each other? We may come from
different backgrounds but we are Many and we are One.
The Crystal that enhances Love and Compassion is the Rose
Quartz. Also known as the “Love Stone”. I have one on my
desk at work to constantly remind me to be loving and
compassion to the next person I run into. Rose Quartz
energy stimulates the heart chakra and enhances how we
express our love to one another. Expressing our love
unconditionally is one of the greatest things we can do for
each other. Getting out of our minds and into our hearts.
This year at Vida were have several workshops planned and a
Healing Sanctuary which will happen every second month. The
first Healing Sanctuary will be the beginning of February,
(date to be determined). For those of you who do not know
what a Healing Sanctuary is, it is a place where a few
healers work and offer healing to those who need or want it
complimentary. It is a enlightened evening and you leave
feeling serene and peaceful.
One of the workshops that I will be offering every two
months is Inner Sanctuary Training. This is a Delphi
University course that I am certified to teach. Upon
completion you will receive a certificate from Delphi
University. This course is an excellent tool that everyone
can benefit from. Please see my website for further
details.
For those who really want to do some work on themselves to
create more joy and happiness in their lives in 2008 , I
offer a Holistic Healing System called Connecting with
Spirit. This is a program that offers healing on all
levels, spiritual, physical, mental and emotional. It is
spread out over three weeks. Please contact me for further
